Snowy Deadly Valentine

Fred and June were recently married in a private ceremony. They had a shotgun wedding and Fred was made to promise for a real fancy wedding after baby was born. Fred told June that he was taking her on a honeymoon. Now here they were driving in frigid conditions. June commented that all she saw was white snow, while Fred reassured her this was to die for.

They came to a patch with a few gnarly trees with a few rocks. Fred brought out some skates. He told June that they needed a rest and that there was a pond not far off. He cautioned her to take it easy. They walked in the snowy deserted bank to the pond. There were no benches or any signs of anybody being there. Fred reassured her that he had been here many times. June put on her skates in the car, Fred then conceded that his skates lacked laces so he would just watch.

June loved to skate and being 3 months pregnant she was still pretty good at it. She went slowly, every now and then putting her hands on her abdomen. She was excited to be a mother and hoped Fred was to be a good father. She skated towards the center of the pond where the thin ice gave way. She screamed for Fred, who had walked into the car and was about to drive off. Bobbing and screaming she remained until the water dragged her under. Fred left.
